The McKenzie method is something we’re known for and specialize in here at CJ Physical Therapy & Pilates. Our therapists are CERTIFIED, not just trained in the method, which makes a huge difference. The McKenzie Method is a whole-body system of assessing and treating musculoskeletal pain or injury that emphasizes patient empowerment and self-treatment. We can use this system of diagnosis and treatment for acute, subacute and chronic conditions of the spine and extremities, and you do NOT need a doctor’s prescription or an MRI first. In fact, this system is so reliable and accurate – when done my a certified practitioner – that we will know right away if we need to refer you out or send you to a doctor. This system is science-based and backed by years of research, and it’s designed to give patients control of their pain and empower them to get back to the things they love to do – instead of having to spend time in the doctor’s office.
